We are Adam & Kristen. We’re experienced, insured, and bonded pet sitters serving the College Area of San Diego.

We’re part-time pet sitters who love hosting dogs of all shapes and sizes in our home. Since we both work from home full-time, guest dogs are a perfect distraction from a long day of work. Our family enjoys looking after and has loads of experience with all dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and ages.

Our home has two dogs, an indoor/outdoor cat, chickens, and a pond full of fish. If you live in Rolando you’ve probably seen us out walking our dogs in the evenings, which is one of our favorite ways to relax.

We are a relaxed family and when your dog stays with us we’ll treat them with the same love, affection, and attention we offer our other animals.

Our home and yard are very pet friendly. We get to know what your dog likes and make sure we keep them happy and entertained.

Our backyard, an urban garden, is fully enclosed with brick walls and even our side yard is double-gated. That means that your dog is very safe in our yard and they can’t get out. Most of our guest dogs take turns alternating their napping from inside the house to out on the patio under our direct supervision.

Adam’s home office is in the backyard so dogs usually have freedom to roam inside and out pretty much whenever they want. (Unless it’s hot, in which case we run the A/C so the patio door gets closed.)

Overnight guests get daily walks around Rolando depending on your dogs level of fitness. (One of our routes even has a secret treat stop!) Doggy daycare guests seem to alternate between running around and playing with our dogs and napping. Napping is big around our house… for the dogs, at least!

We require a meet-n-greet, if at all possible. We enjoy hosting dogs that are playful and happy; don’t destroy things in the house and don’t dig holes in our garden. We have a cockapoo (20ish pounds) and a mix we call “Irish Husky” (45 lbs) that we think is half husky and half irish wolfhound.

We’re most experienced with medium to large dogs but we can work with smaller dogs, as well.
